Overview
Smart Media Logs records who uploaded, modified, or deleted media files in your WordPress media library. This gives school administrators visibility into media activity — useful for safeguarding reviews, troubleshooting missing files, or auditing content changes.
Getting Set Up
Smart Media Logs works automatically once installed. View logs at Media → Smart Media Logs.

Where to find it: Media → Smart Media Logs
Shows a paginated table (50 entries per page) with:
- Media file name and type
- Action (upload, edit, delete)
- User who performed the action
- Date and time
Tips & Best Practice
- Review logs periodically as part of your website safeguarding audit.
- Use logs to identify who uploaded a file if there is a concern about its content.
- Logs are stored in the WordPress database and retained indefinitely unless manually cleared.
